从技术架构上来看，物联网可分为三层：感知层、网络层和应用层。但物联网基础包括两方面内容：，物联网的核心和基础仍然是互联网，是在互联网基础上的延伸和扩展的网络；第二，其用户端延伸和扩展到了任何物体与物体之间，进行信息交换和通信。从以上可以看出，物联网是一个系统工程，既然是系统工程，就需要社会整体关注和推进。从国家政策到相关产业，到每一家企业，甚至从业者个人，需要共同努力，让物联网雕塑不但有“图纸”，还要有雕塑者，更多的是让这尊雕塑实现智能，活起来。
